How do I get an email list at resist.ca?
Simply go to https://new.resist.ca and fill out the form. It generally takes about 4 or 5 days to set up a list.
How do I join a list or change my list subscriptions?
Go to https://lists.resist.ca for the list of mailing lists hosted on the resist.ca server. From there, select the list that you wish to subscribe to or unsubscribe from, or change the options on. It's pretty straight forward from there. Some lists are not publicly listed on the page for privacy reasons. In that case, you should already know the name of the list and can type - https://lists.resist.ca/mailman/listinfo/
Which lists would you recommend I subscribe to?
For Vancouver activists, van-announce@lists.resist.ca list is probably the most useful of all the lists on the server. It has a very complete listing of the events coming up in Vancouver. For news, we recommend that activists across "Canada" subscribe to news@lists.resist.ca. See "How do I join a list or change my list subscriptions?" above for more info.
How do I administer the mailing list that i requested?
Go to - https://lists.resist.ca/mailman/admin - choose the list that you requested, and plunk in the password provided to you. The administrative interface is pretty straight forward.
